With over forty-five years' experience in the tax field, Thom has served a great diversity of clientele, always attempting to individualize his practice to the needs of each specific client. He has given many lectures to professional, public, religious, philanthropic, and business groups. Thom believes deeply in the need to educate his clients on a one-to-one basis, so that their own individual lives might proceed more rapidly towards their intended goals, while not ignoring the individual's quality-of-life issues.
In addition to being an Enrolled Agent, Thom has the California Real Estate Broker's license and the California Insurance license. Thom has both a bachelor's and master's degree in theology, and several degrees and credentials in business, including Certified Financial Planner (CFP), National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI) fellow, and Accredited Tax Adviser (ATA), among others.
Thom received his formal education at Moody Bible Institute, Wheaton College, Loyola University, University of Illinois, Talbot Theological Seminary, College for Financial Planning, University of San Francisco, and California Coast University.
Professionally, he is member in the National Association of Enrolled Agents and California Society of Enrolled Agents.
